Deepen your understanding, practice, and teaching techniques for aerial yoga. Our course encourages form correction, student growth, and a challenging fitness program!  Trainees will learn to utilize our tools to lead a technique oriented class.  By the end of your training, you should be able to:

-Recognize common posture problems

-Present proper technique, modifications, and corrections in each exercise  

-Safely spot students

-Create a full body balanced class flow

-Proper Rigging & Hammock Safety

-Lead and manage a class

Trainees will be required to attend all scheduled training hours, observe aerial yoga class, and practice leading a class during the practical exam.

At the end of the program, one trainee picked by the trainer will receive a teaching slot at Jagged Vertical Dance & Fitness, and all approved trainees will be added to our sub list.

About Your Trainer:

Jessica Anderson-Gwin is the owner of Jagged Vertical Dance & Fitness.  She has 20 years of dance experience, is a UCLA Arts Bridge scholar and B.A. dance program graduate, curriculum creation training, an arts educator, BASI Pilates training, 13 years of teaching experience, and 7 years of pole and aerial experience.
