We're having a tie dye party at the studio to celebrate Angela's birthday after open gym at the studio! Current and new members welcome, bring friends if you want.

- We're getting white t-shirts for everyone. If you have another white clothing item you want to dye, bring them for round two.

-It's potluck style - bring food to share if you can.

-=Recommending to wear old clothes because the dye gets messy.

Description

90 min. The focus of this class will be to introduce and improve transitions. Transitions are necessary for building any sequence. Smooth transitions can help elevate all your aerial poses and sequences. We will work on mounts, rolls, climbs, and just about any other way you can move in and around the hoop. Students can expect to learn versatile transitions to add to their existing practice.

⭐️ Pre-Requisites - Comfortable with inversions (bent or straight arm) - Comfortable with basic bar positions (back/front balance, knee hangs) - Good level of awareness in the air to make safe choices for their own bodies

Description

90 min. As expected, spins are in the spotlight. Spins are an integral part of any aerial hoop artist’s repertoire. They can also be difficult to generate and maintain. We will work on applying the principles of spinning, from basic to advanced. This class is great for any spinner of any level, it is self-paced as every aerialist has a different relationship to spinning.

-We have free parking spaces behind the studio off of Barry Ave.  There is a valet for the corner restaurant from 5-10pm daily, but you can still park for free if you tell him where you're going. 

-There is street parking behind the studio, and plenty of metered parking. 

-The lot behind Cafe 50's off of Barry Ave. is $1/hr $4/9 hrs and free after 9pm.
